Just beyond the threshold, visitors are greeted by an enveloping portal in Klein blue, elegantly defining the kitchen and living area. It feels like getting lost in the sky itself, where the blue extends beyond the window, merging with the endless city skyline.
Framing this captivating immersion is a kitchen with mirrored surfaces that, like a reflection of the sky, enhances the sensation of freedom permeating the main living area. The base cabinets and overhead units, clad in silver mirror, are concealed by a refined folding door mechanism, hiding all functional elements when desired.
At the heart of this infinite blue, a white frame embraces the space, accompanied by a salmon-pink vintage sofa with delicate stripes. The kitchen extends to the entrance, making the most of the generous ceiling heights with equipped shelves and a wardrobe compartment, before naturally flowing towards the sleeping area through a well-organized corridor that cleverly houses the washing machine, dryer, and storage space.
The bedroom is also an invitation to dream, evoking an aesthetic with an antique charm. The walls of the side wardrobe are adorned with splendid Fornasetti wallpaper, a hidden treasure of shelves and hanging spaces. At the center of the scene, the bed welcomes you with a soft, brown velvet headboard, while octane-colored Kartell modular units serve as elegant bedside tables. Completing this picture is the bathroom, with its refined light grey marble finish, offering a sense of calm and continuity throughout the home.
Klein described his deep ultramarine blue as “the most perfect expression of blue.” In this color lies the search for infinity, peace, and contemplation, a sense of physical and mental freedom that can be felt in every corner of this apartment.
