Oak Soul

In this new project, the space transforms into a story of harmony and modernity.
A skillful use of materials defines the spaces: the warmth of wood, the lightness of white, and the depth of black intertwine in a contemporary balance.

Project: Gianluca Tessaro Interior Designer
Year: 2025
Site: Ponteranica

Materials, light, and volumes become essential, and every detail contributes to a sense of fluidity and lightness. The kitchen, both essential and functional, opens naturally onto the living area and entrance through a corridor lined with thermo-treated oak paneling.

The paneling becomes the cornerstone of the project, enveloping the space in thermo-treated oak, chosen in a medium tone—not too dark nor too light—capable of balancing an already bright environment dominated by light colors. The kitchen, with pearl gray shades, is embraced by a deep-toned Dekton countertop with subtle light veins and features a central island designed for more informal and dynamic moments.

The dining table, solid and welcoming, custom-designed and crafted in detail, becomes a place of gathering and conviviality, while the living area is intended for more intimate and relaxing moments. The entire living space is lined with paneling, whose intensity warms the environment, giving it a more masculine and refined feel, in a story of continuity and harmony.

Anthracite slats shape perspectives, partially obscure the view, and act as a unifying motif, marking transitions and creating subtle divisions between spaces. The paneling also conceals service areas and access to the sleeping area, maintaining visual fluidity and coherence.

In the bathroom, thermo-treated oak returns as a connecting element in a custom-made column cabinet with internal shelves and space for the washing machine, combining functionality with elegance.

This renovation is not just an aesthetic intervention, but a new way of living the home: a space that welcomes, breathes, and tells a lifestyle story defined by beauty, functionality, and harmony.

Sensorial Experience of Design

A Milanese refuge where design meets emotion. A project that becomes a sensorial experience, open to anyone wishing to embrace it. Project: Studio Locatelli Partners Year: 2024 Site: Milano

In the heart of Milan, opposite the historic Palazzo del Senato, a project takes shape-one that engages with the city’s architectural identity and contributes to an elegant, coherent urban patchwork.

Just steps from Via Montenapoleone, in a building meticulously renovated with sartorial care, a collection of exclusive apartments has been created for those who seek not just a place to stay, but a deeper immersion in the Milanese way of life. Here, interior design becomes narrative, and each floor a chapter of its own.

The five suites share the same layout: a spacious living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two balconies. Yet it’s in the details that each floor reveals its soul. Finishes and furnishings shift in tone, following the natural light and creating a chromatic palette that grows more intense with each level.

The custom-designed kitchens on each floor are dressed in colors that evoke emotion: cactus green, sky blue, blush pink, rust red, and aqua green. Soft or bold tones, paired with interiors either in harmony or contrast, shape spaces where functionality is enhanced by visual delight. Materials invite touch, while maintaining durability over time.
In the junior bathrooms, time is reflected in the details.

Five different wood finishes—from natural and thermo-treated oak to maple, mahogany, and glossy lacquer—reinterpret a refined vintage style that converses with the present without nostalgia.
Each wood essence welcomes daily rituals with a new depth; every material choice invites one to slow down, to inhabit time. Maple also appears in a large library filled with curated books, inviting quiet moments of reading.

This project is an ode to Italian design: every floor is furnished with iconic objects and carefully chosen materials. The interiors evoke tradition and reinterpret it within a contemporary vision of living. And the view over central Milan is simply priceless.

Blue Milan

In a small apartment in the vibrant heart of Milan, the spaces seem to dissolve, opening a portal that blends seamlessly with the horizon.

Project: Architude
Year: 2024
Site: Milano

Just beyond the threshold, visitors are greeted by an enveloping portal in Klein blue, elegantly defining the kitchen and living area. It feels like getting lost in the sky itself, where the blue extends beyond the window, merging with the endless city skyline.

Framing this captivating immersion is a kitchen with mirrored surfaces that, like a reflection of the sky, enhances the sensation of freedom permeating the main living area. The base cabinets and overhead units, clad in silver mirror, are concealed by a refined folding door mechanism, hiding all functional elements when desired.

At the heart of this infinite blue, a white frame embraces the space, accompanied by a salmon-pink vintage sofa with delicate stripes. The kitchen extends to the entrance, making the most of the generous ceiling heights with equipped shelves and a wardrobe compartment, before naturally flowing towards the sleeping area through a well-organized corridor that cleverly houses the washing machine, dryer, and storage space.

The bedroom is also an invitation to dream, evoking an aesthetic with an antique charm. The walls of the side wardrobe are adorned with splendid Fornasetti wallpaper, a hidden treasure of shelves and hanging spaces. At the center of the scene, the bed welcomes you with a soft, brown velvet headboard, while octane-colored Kartell modular units serve as elegant bedside tables. Completing this picture is the bathroom, with its refined light grey marble finish, offering a sense of calm and continuity throughout the home.

Klein described his deep ultramarine blue as “the most perfect expression of blue.” In this color lies the search for infinity, peace, and contemplation, a sense of physical and mental freedom that can be felt in every corner of this apartment.

The Enchantment of Modern Furnishings with an Elegant French Touch

In the enchanting setting of the Parco dei Colli Bergamaschi, there is an apartment with irresistible charm, where essential and contemporary lines blend harmoniously with modern and elegant furnishings, reminiscent of Parisian style.

Project: Modulor
Year: 2022/2023
Site: Bergamo

From the very first glance, the herringbone parquet floor reveals the essence of the house, evoking ancient elegance associated with aristocratic palaces. The living area, integrated into a single open space, merges with the kitchen, cleverly concealed by a functional and welcoming entrance cabinet. A careful gaze gets lost in the living room, amidst exquisite upholstery, antique pieces, and design icons such as a Castiglioni arch and a Flos Taccia lamp, combined with a refined ceiling light that folds onto itself with a golden finish.

The kitchen, with its peninsula shape and Calacatta macchia vecchia countertop, extends downward, closing off the dual-function cooking and snack area. The light-colored stone also becomes the kitchen’s backsplash, perfectly harmonizing with the glossy finish of the wall cabinets and the matte finish of the base units. Meanwhile, the snack counter, designed with an inward slant, creates a visually captivating illusion of depth and reflection. The columns on the side wall seamlessly integrate appliances and pantry, blending with the entrance cabinet.

In the sequence of rooms, the floor parquet changes its layout in the hallway, creating a visual effect that amplifies the spaciousness and linearity of the bedrooms. The master bedroom is a haven of relaxation, adorned with a delicate Fornasetti wallpaper featuring clouds, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Targeted lighting and Catellani&Smith lights in gold leaf, along with suspended bedside tables, add a touch of magic and lightness to the space. The master bathroom shares the same characteristics as the bedside tables, featuring a frame made of a thin layer of glass painted in retro gold, recessed handles, and a play of angles that convey lightness and richness in the details. The adjacent walk-in closet, with its double entrance and E-shaped structure, offers impeccable organization of space.

In the guest bathroom, a large textured finish in a deep shade of brown complements a slim white solid surface countertop and a spacious oval bathtub seamlessly integrated into the surface. Finally, a fitted wall in the adjacent room houses the laundry area, complete with all the necessary appliances, shelves for cleaning products, and a generous shoe cabinet. Every detail has been carefully attended to, including the lighting points with round-profile spotlights, which take on a golden hue in the kitchen area.

In this harmonious fusion of modernity and French influences, every element of the apartment combines in an enchanting way, bringing together grace, elegance, and a touch of poetry.

The warm embrace of wood and metal

In a villa surrounded by greenery, the interior furnishings are characterized by the elegant combination of dark wood and metal inserts.

Project: Studio Arch. Mario Cassinelli
Year: 2022/2023
Site: Bergamo

At the entrance, a hanging rack in the niche anticipates and denotes the style of the living area, characterized by full-height thermo-treated oak furniture with linear brass inserts that enrich and enhance the nature of the wood.
The living area opens up in front of a glass wall that illuminates upholstered furniture in light tones and an equipped wall that alternates with a backlit bookcase. The parts with doors recall the style of the entrance’s furniture while the bookcase is interesting in which very thin bronze painted shelves are inserted which, with uneven lengths, create dynamism between the vertical and oblique volumes.

We also find wood on the floor with a warm-toned parquet that alternates with the veined white of the Carrara marble that characterizes the bathrooms and the basement staircase. The bathroom serving the living area takes up the material fil rouge of the adjacent room, while the one on the lower floor is characterized by a light-colored cabinet with recessed handles, a white solid surface top that contrasts with a dark-toned floor.

Light/dark play also in the night area where the combination of wood and metal remains but changes appearance preferring the solid colors of ivory white in the master bathroom and black in the bedroom furnishings. These lose their austerity with a play of primary colors found inside the bedside tables and in the circular recessed handles of the chest of drawers. The metal, on the other hand, becomes black iron and underlines its industrial imprint with visible welding.
The maximum expression of the material is found in the aerial staircase that goes to the mezzanine where there is a walk-in closet with folding doors covered in black iron combined with a matt lacquered chest of drawers.

An important role within the environments is played by artificial lights. The false ceilings have linear and symmetrical cuts capable of diffusing soft light throughout the living area. In the bathrooms and bedrooms, the light points have been carefully chosen, to have the best lighting without losing the charm of the atmosphere.
